I recently heard a radio DJ remark that Sammy Hagar, after putting on more than a few pounds, now resembles the love child of Robert Plant and a hamster. So your description of Brittney Spears is not the first time I have heard another human being phenotypically compared with these rodents. Matter of fact, sports journalist Jim Rome has added Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo to his "All-Rat" team of athletes/coaches whose faces (at least in his opinion) resemble a rat. (Is there a trend developing here?)
Anyways, all I can say after reading your review is that this movie is probably a glarinlgy ugly reminder of how politics unfairly governs everything. Just because Brittney Spears is hot (despite your domestic small animal assertion of her appearance in this film) doesn't mean the bitch can act. Once again....SEX SELLS! The story line sounds like it COULD have been made into, maybe not a great movie, but a respectable one worthy of seeing. Unfortunately, a script with modest potential is doomed if all the other components (directing, editing, and most importantly, finding the best actors to fit the roles) are not maximized. For that reason, this movie never stood a chance. Hopefully, this tragic waste of reel will serve as a lesson to other film makers that non-acting celebrities more than likely will NOT "make" a film, they will damn it.
